Italian consumer survey on ESC

The Automobile Club d'Italia (ACI) is running a survey on its website to find out how much people know about ESC.

It investigates if the public knows that ESC reduces the danger of skidding, and asks whether it can be retrofitted. Furthermore, it questions whether people think ESC increases fuel consumption, and if so how much. Finally, people are asked how much they would pay to have ESC on board and if their next car will have ESC.

The results will be published at the launch of the Italian ChooseESC! campaign in Vallelunga (close to Rome) on 6 May 2008.
