ChooseESC at European Road Safety Day

On 13 October 2008, the ChooseESC campaign took part in a conference organised by the European Commission to mark the second European Road Safety Day.

The conference which was held at the Grande Arche in Paris saw some 600 delegates, including Antonio Tajani, the Commission Vice-President responsible for transport, and Jacques Barrot, the Vice-President responsible for justice, freedom and security, as well as Dominique Bussereau, the French Minister of State responsible for transport, and Altero Matteoli, the Italian Transport Minister.

In the scope of the event, ChooseESC took part in an exhibtion which presented the main European initiatives and advances made to improve road safety.
