ChooseESC! presented to automobile clubs from around the world

 
The ChooseESC! campaign was present in Paris 5 & 6 November 2008 where more than 100 Automobile Clubs from all over the world participated in the annual meetings of both the FIA and the FIA Foundation.

David Ward, Director General of the FIA Foundation presented in his speech the global political development of Electronic Stability Control and gave an overview of the last year’s campaigning activities. He specifically mentioned the important contributions from a large number of clubs who have made the ESC demonstration events so successful and he also stressed the importance of commitments from teams like and Citroen and BMW Sauber F1 for providing drivers like Sebastien Loeb and Marko Asmer to the ChooseESC! events. The FIA Foundation is a main sponsor of the campaign and Mr Ward also mentioned the campaign launch in Canada in October 2008 where the FIA Foundation provided funding to the activities coordinated by the Canadian club CAA. 

During the two days, the ChooseESC! stand was visited by a large number of delegates from the automobile clubs where they could obtain information on the campaign activities.
